Her return home was finally made after 80 days of hospitalization, after a time when she was close to death, and began the lengthy road to healthy. Her life had been forever changed. Angelica was in dialysis for nearly a year before finally being able to undergo the most important operation of her life: a transplant of the kidney. The donor kidney would come from none other than her mom. Angelica Hale was able to undergo a kidney transplantation along alongside her mother on the 13th of September 2013.
